Tell Starbucks "No Guns": Wake Up and Smell the Coffee! Dear Toni, The pressure is building on Starbucks and we can’t stop now! Thanks to you, and our partnership with CREDO Action, we were able to deliver more than 28,000 petitions to Starbucks headquarters in Seattle last week. As you know, the petition urges Starbucks to adopt a “no gun” policy in its coffee houses. If you have signed the petition, thank you! We will continue to let Starbucks know that we want to enjoy our coffee without the fear and intimidation of guns. Packing heat in places like Starbucks could be potentially dangerous to our families and communities – and it should be stopped. Businesses can legally prohibit guns from being carried in their establishments – and so far, Peet's Coffee & Tea and California Pizza Kitchen have heeded customer concerns and barred guns in their establishments. But Starbucks is refusing to prohibit guns in its stores, despite protests from loyal customers.
