Federal Dollars for PAX/Real Solutions Will Expand Resources for Students to Report Threats

Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand today announced that the Senate Appropriations Committee approved $850,000 for PAX/Real Solutions in the FY10 Commerce, Justice and Science Appropriations Bill for a national program that encourages more students to report weapon-related threats in their schools and communities. Senator Gillibrand aggressively lobbied members of the Appropriations Committee to include funding for the project in this year’s spending bill.
